Research in the field of Counterfactual Machine Learning, which includes dynamic visual reasoning, physics modeling, and neuro-symbolic AI.

Develop computer vision and sensor fusion algorithms for 6DoF object tracking in AR/VR applications. Design full-stack systems and integrate on Android VR headsets. Develop bare-metal and RTOS firmware on low-power MCUs (STM32, Nordic). Define manufacturing testing strategies for VR handheld controllers.

Master thesis on 6DoF object tracking for VR applications.
Design of an efficient computer vision pipeline for embedded systems to track VR controllers (in Python & C++). Development of an IMU calibration algorithm and procedure for VR devices.

Design of ML strategies for accurate repeatable skin puncturing. Main focus on Bayesian inference & Gaussian Processes. Matlab for model training and ROS for controlling Kuka robots.

Research focusing on droplet microfluidics for immunotheraphy applications (isolation of T-cells for cancer treatments). Design of MEMS microfluidics circuits (Autocad) for passive high-throughput droplet sorting and droplet fusion.

Presenting a simple passive microfluidic system overcoming the Poisson limitation with unprecedented efficacy, allowing the generation of single-cell droplets for a wide range of operating conditions, with extremely high throughput (more than 22'000 single-cell droplets / minute) and with an extremely low fault ratio, applicable to any cells and deformable particles.
